
Dagwood Bumstead is pushed into resigning, and when his wife Blondie asks his boss, Mr. Dithers, to reinstate him, the boss surprisingly hires her instead, much to Dagwood’s annoyance. During Blondie’s sister’s visit, Dagwood is mistakenly placed in a compromising situation with another woman, sparking comic misunderstandings for the family.
