Bituing Walang Ningning
Dorina Pineda, Sharon Cuneta, a sampaguita seller, is a devoted fan of Lavinia Arguelles, Cherie Gil, and she follows her idol to every concert, often rushing onto the stage with a bouquet and patiently waiting outside venues just to catch a glimpse or a word from Lavinia. What begins as adoration slowly reveals the darker side of fame: Lavinia carries an inflated ego and a cold, calculating streak that chips away at those closest to her, including her longtime partner, Nico Escobar, Christopher De Leon. The film quietly maps the tension between idol worship and the pressure of living in the glare of the spotlight.
