What Is Bawod About?

The premise of Bawod without spoilers.

A twelve-year-old girl named Thirdy faces a dilemma as her school’s talent show approaches: she can’t afford the costume and contribution required to participate. Raised by her affable but ailing grandfather, Cesario, who works as a bamboo farmer, they struggle to make ends meet in a small mountain village in Iloilo. Adding to her worries, Thirdy experiences visions of a mysterious man she believes to be her deceased father, despite others dismissing them as fantasies. As the talent show nears, village issues and long-held family secrets threaten to surface and disrupt everything.
