What Is Basic Training About?
The premise of Basic Training without spoilers.
Melinda travels to Washington, D.C., to visit her friend Debbie and land a government job she hopes will make a difference. She secures a low‑level administrative post at the Pentagon, where she discovers a lax environment and a boss more interested in flirtation than finding lost Russian data. Resisting his advances, Melinda begins to climb the ranks, subtly influencing her male colleagues to advance her policies and ultimately help defuse an escalating conflict with Russia.
