Aditya Shrivastav, Bobby Deol, is a court-martialled army officer trying to make sense of a troubling turn of events surrounding his brother. His brother, Anuj Shrivastav Ritesh Deshmukh, one day runs away in a burst of anger, setting off a chain of events that will test Aditya’s trust in the system. The situation worsens when a corrupt introduction to justice arrives: ACP Yashwant Thakur Rahul Dev helps Aditya track Anuj, and later informs him that Anuj was killed in an encounter.

The next piece of the puzzle comes from a police report that claims Anuj was fleeing with drugs and was shot dead at the scene. Unable to accept this account at face value, Aditya launches his own investigation, driven by a need for truth and accountability. As he digs deeper, he encounters Anuj’s traumatised girlfriend Ramona Tara Sharma, who provides a stark, corroborating perspective: she reveals that ACP Thakur and two other officers brutally killed Anuj for reasons that aren’t clear and then lied to cover their tracks.

Desperate for a way to challenge the narrative, Aditya turns to Payal Lara Dutta to act as his lawyer, hoping the courtroom might be a proper venue for justice. The trial proves difficult, and Aditya ends up losing the case, a setback that only strengthens his resolve to uncover the truth by other means. Refusing to bow to the apparent impunity of those who harmed his brother, he decides to take matters into his own hands.

What follows is a morally charged pursuit of justice through unorthodox means. Aditya captures the moment of confession by holding the three captives until they admit the wrongdoing, and he records the proceedings to create undeniable evidence. He presents this secretly obtained proof to the Police Commissioner Shivaji Satham, a move that finally brings the culprits to light and leads to their arrest, restoring a sense of accountability to a case that began with doubt and grief. In the film’s closing scene, Aditya performs the final rites for Anuj, completing a arc about family, truth, and the pursuit of justice within a flawed system.
