On Halloween night, a babysitter receives chilling, escalating texts that threaten to invade her world. Soon after, the threat becomes nightmare material as she is grabbed by a masked attacker and restrained with duct tape in a chair, her fingernails torn away and her throat cut in a shocking display of violence. In a separate strand of the night, Angela chats with her neighbor, Mr. Walker, whose daughter April disappeared seven years earlier and was declared deceased in absentia.
