What Is Armin About?
The premise of Armin without spoilers.
Ibro (Emir Hadžihafizbegović) takes his son Armin (Armin Omerović) from their Bosnian village to Zagreb for an audition in a German film about the Balkan war. Their trip is riddled with setbacks—a broken bus, lateness, and Armin being deemed too old. After persuading the director for a second chance, Armin suffers an epileptic seizure. When the crew finally offers him a role, Ibro refuses, leading Armin to finally understand the depth of his father’s love.
