Set in the summer of 1999 in Shrivardhan, the film follows three 14-year-old friends—Krushna, Prasad, and Siddhesh—as they anticipate a vacation that promises long bike rides, games, and the easy, sunlit curiosity of youth. The days unfold with a sense of boundless freedom, the coast’s breeze threading through small-town lanes, and the simple rituals of summer that feel like a private world built just for them.

Just before the break, Prasad’s father plans to send him to Mumbai for an English-language course, a decision the friends resist. They fear that a summer meant for exploration and laughter might be overwritten by lessons and deadlines, and they cling to the hope that they can stretch every day into something memorable.

The balance shifts when Jaie, a girl from Pune visiting her aunt for the summer, arrives in the village. Prasad’s father cancels the Mumbai plan on the condition that Jaie tutors Prasad in English during the vacation and helps him adjust to village life. Jaie Jaie enters the group with fresh energy and new rhythms, and right away the dynamic among the four begins to shift.

At first, the changes bring friction and resistance as old habits collide with new perspectives.
