Fifteen years after a tragedy that claimed his parents, Bala returns to his hometown with his wife Revathy Bala and their son Anand to the old house where he grew up. They plan to stay just a few nights to reconnect with the past, but the sprawling home holds onto more memories than they bargained for.

As Bala wanders through familiar rooms, Anand, who cannot speak, begins to notice eerie, almost sentient movements that he can’t describe. The child’s quiet sightings unsettle the family, while Revathy notices a creeping sense of confinement and suspects something supernatural is at work inside the walls. She identifies clear signs of poltergeist activity and urges Bala to leave for Chennai before danger escalates.

Yet what starts as a haunted visit reveals a more immediate danger: they never came on holiday at all. Bala’s past debt has dragged them into a debt trap, and he owes money to rowdies. The house becomes a temporary prison as the couple confronts the consequences of secrets kept in the open.

Into this tense mix steps Jeeva, Bala’s classmate and business partner, who arrives to stay with them. His company had borrowed 40 lakhs from a ruthless creditor, and the debt has swollen to 50 lakhs. A missing agent who was supposed to deliver a huge infusion of cash means there is no easy escape from the looming threat.

With the ghostly presence acting as a strange ally, the family navigates a route to freedom and a way out of house arrest. The spirits seem to guide them toward a solution others have overlooked, hinting that the truth lies not only in money but in the memories of the house and its former inhabitants.

Ultimately, it surfaces that Bala’s jealous partner had the money all along, enabling the plan to pay off the rowdies without informing the family.
