An Outpost of Progress (2016): Cast & Box Office

In the late nineteenth century, two inexperienced Portuguese colonizers arrive in a remote region of the Congo River, intending to establish a trading post and bring progress to the area. However, their attempts to profit from the ivory trade prove fruitless, leading to growing disillusionment and a sense of isolation. Misunderstandings and distrust with the local population further compound their struggles as they confront each other and descend into a personal crisis within the dense jungle.
