Sathyam is the carefree son of a wealthy mill owner, Lakshmipathi, who has just returned from studying in New York to Coimbatore. His cousin, Prakash, secretly funds his travels and spends to indulge Sathyam’s bohemian lifestyle, hoping to keep him entertained and out of the family business so he can one day inherit Sathyam Mills. To ground him in reality, Lakshmipathi orders a stark moral experiment: Sathyam must spend three months on the streets of Chennai, with no money and no permission to reveal his true identity or rely on his education to gain aid from anyone. Driven by a sense of responsibility, Sathyam returns the medicine and accompanies Madhavan to the hospital, where doctors reveal a staggering need: Madhavan requires a sum of ₹5 lakhs to save his life. Seeking a solution, Sathyam infiltrates the house of Divya’s billionaire father, posing as the long-lost son Madhavan. In this disguise, he clears up the confusion surrounding Madhavan’s presence and helps reunite Madhavan with his father. He also persuades Divya to let go of him, allowing space for the truth and for the people involved to move forward. But the path to resolution is not without danger. Prakash—the scheming cousin who has long plotted to derail Sathyam—learns of his friend’s ruse and attempts to eliminate him. In a climactic turn, Madhavan and Sathyam confront Prakash and bring him to the police, quelling the danger he posed.
