Prathapa Varma is a wealthy Dubai-based magnate who quietly fathers two sons: Manu, and Alexander, the latter born from an affair with his Mumbai-based lover Janet. In a will that tightens the plot around wealth, the entire fortune is left to Alexander. If Alexander dies, 40% of the estate goes to Rama Varma and other relatives like Ravi Varma, 30% goes to Manu, and the remaining 30% is placed in a trust. If Manu were to die, the entire inheritance would go to the trust, and suddenly the relatives hatch a dangerous plan to remove Manu from the equation. Manu, desperate to claim his share, decides to go to Mumbai to confront Alexander and secure a power of attorney that would grant him access to Varma’s wealth, with the aim of either killing or sidelining his half-brother.
He sets off with his girlfriend Bismitha and his maternal uncle, Sri Ramakrishnan. To their shock, they discover Alexander is confined in a mental rehabilitation center, under the care of Dr. Korah. Manu attempts to persuade Alexander to sign the document, but the younger man either resists or escapes the facility, leaving Manu frustrated and exposed.
Meanwhile, the family’s reach is ominous: Rama Varma sends a squad of thugs to eliminate Alexander, while a moneylender named Thomas also teams up with hired goons to finish him off. Yet Alexander proves remarkably resourceful, evading capture and even saving those who stand with him. This clash of wates and wiles rouses Manu to reassess his plan; he begins to see the extraordinary abilities of his half-brother and starts to grow fond of him. The siblings’ relationship begins to shift as Manu contemplates bringing Alexander to Dubai.
In Dubai, Alexander reveals a surprising truth: he is mentally stable. The film then cuts to a flashback: the two men, along with their father, rent a hotel room where a dead waitress is found. Prathapa Varma is accused of the murder, and Alexander takes the blame to shield his father, landing in jail. To secure his release, Alexander pretends to be mentally unstable and is sent to a rehabilitation center for treatment.
One day, Alexander decides to share his father’s wealth, but Ravi Varma asserts his own right to own everything. He uses Janet’s detention by his thugs to threaten Alexander, and he uncovers that Ravi played a hand in the waitress’s murder to trap Prathapa Varma. Faced with pressure, Alexander signs away the entire fortune to Ravi, but he also convinces Ravi to distribute 30% to the other relatives and to settle Manu’s debts.
After the settlement, Alexander plans a return trip to Mumbai. At the airport, Dr. Korah reveals that the documents granting Manu 100% of the wealth were illegal—signed by a clearly unstable person. The truth reframes the entire tale, and the story closes with Alexander and Dr. Korah boarding their flight, bidding farewell to his half-brother as the journey moves forward.
