The situation tightens quickly as Miller is brought in, and the tension escalates. Miller, confident and defiant, hints at a broader danger by telling reporters he’ll pay a fortune to anyone who helps him escape. Brandt confronts him in a paddy wagon, trying to keep the situation under control while the outside world watches. Meanwhile, the prison’s administration scrambles to respond to a crisis that seems to be unfolding faster than they can manage, as the news mentions a second breakout attempt and a guard is shot during the confusion.

A dramatic turn comes when three intruders in fake guard uniforms infiltrate the facility, forcing a chaotic shift in power.
