Spoilers ahead
In the early 2000s, Isabel learns a shocking truth: her husband Cholo, who vanished twenty years earlier during Argentina’s Dirty War as a desaparecido, is still alive. Driven by a mix of hope and unease, she chooses to seek him out, and, joined by their two daughters, they embark on a journey to a small sea village near Patagonia where he has started a new life as a baker. The family history that pulled them apart stretches back to a time of political turmoil, and the road to reunion is woven with questions, memory, and the heavy hush of the coast.
