As the train chugs along the tracks, four globally celebrated musicians, better known as The Beatles (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr), sneak away from the throngs of adoring fans clamoring to catch a glimpse of their idols. Their destination is London, where they are scheduled to perform in an unforgettable televised variety show concert. During their journey, they encounter Paul’s mischievous Irish grandfather, Wilfrid Brambell, whose presence brings a unique sense of chaos and camaraderie to the group. The quartet passes the time playing cards with their manager, Norman Rossington, and road manager, Shake, while also entertaining a group of starstruck schoolgirls who are spellbound by the Fab Four’s charisma.

Upon reaching London, the Beatles are whisked away to a lavish hotel, where they are immediately overwhelmed by an enormous pile of fan mail awaiting their attention. Manager Norm presents each member with a daunting stack of letters and insists they respond to all of them. However, the band has other plans - they soon sneak out of the hotel to indulge in a night of revelry. Their escapades are short-lived as Norm and Shake manage to track them down and bring them back to their rooms.

The following day begins with the Beatles arriving at a television studio for a grueling rehearsal schedule. However, things take a complicated turn as the television producer grows wary of their intentions, partly due to unflattering remarks from Paul’s grandfather. Taking their fate into their own hands, the group makes a daring escape through the fire exit and finds themselves in a beautiful field, where they relish the freedom to be themselves until they’re chased off by a caretaker.

Back at the studio, the Beatles face yet another round of obstacles when a woman claims to recognize John Lennon but cannot quite place him. Meanwhile, George Harrison finds himself unexpectedly at the center of an advertising agency’s attention. After insulting the clothes presented to him as “grotesque,” he navigates a precarious audition situation. Regardless of the setbacks, the band remains determined, rehearsing a second song before taking a much-needed break.

As the hour draws near for their grand finale, Ringo Starr is persuaded to accompany Paul’s grandfather to the studio cafeteria for tea. Instead of enjoying light conversation and delicate snacks, Ringo becomes embroiled in a lively debate with his elder companion over a book he is reading. The grandfather cleverly nudges Ringo to step away from his literary pursuits and seek out the vibrant life of the city rather than just reading about it.

Hoping to decompress with a quiet pint at a local pub, Ringo’s peaceful afternoon is quickly disrupted by a string of humorous mishaps. He accidentally threatens a colorful parrot with a dart, sending the bird into a frenzy, and in the midst of navigating through a construction site, Ringo unwittingly causes chaos that leads to a woman’s tumble into an open trench. His antics attract the unwanted attention of a constable who finds Ringo in a rather disheveled state.

To top off his challenging day, complications arise when Paul’s grandfather starts forging Beatles autographs to sell at the studio, resulting in an uproar at the police station and riling up the authorities before he makes a swift exit back to the studio.

In light of these unfolding events, Norm decides it’s time to send the remaining Beatles to rescue Ringo from his troubles. This sends them into a comedic, frenzied chase reminiscent of classic slapstick films, as the Fab Four dash through the streets, weaving in and out of alleys and dodging pedestrians. They finally arrive back at the studio just in time, hair tousled but spirits high.

As the final moments before the show tick down, the Beatles deliver a thrilling performance that plunges their audience into ecstatic joy. With the applause fading, a helicopter whisks them away to their next engagement – a “midnight matinee” extravaganza in Wolverhampton. As they soar into the night sky, Paul seizes the moment to toss aside his grandfather’s dubious forgeries, letting them disperse into the wind like confetti carried away by a gentle breeze.
