What Is A Distant Thunder About?
The premise of A Distant Thunder without spoilers.
The story picks up immediately after the events of “A Thief In the Night.” In a dim church basement, Patty lies awake, terrified and anguished, knowing she faces execution at dawn for refusing the Mark of the Beast. Though she understands the consequences of accepting it, she still cannot embrace Christ. When friends and believers try to offer comfort and urge her conversion, she reacts with anger and rejection.
