Two armed robbers storm a cell phone store, seizing the opportunity for a quick getaway on their motorcycle. However, their getaway takes a turn for the worse when they slip, leaving their motorcycle precariously hanging on a pole, just out of reach. Now evading the police, they dash through back alleys, ultimately breaking into the home of Ma Jiaqi, a quadriplegic woman. In a tense standoff, the robbers threaten her, but when she defiantly challenges them to pull the trigger, they falter and cannot go through with their threat.
