Nallamuthu Rajkiran reconnects with Veerapandi Thyagarajan, his wife, and their eight-year-old son Jai Prashanth as they return from the USA after a long gap, settling back into a village where old loyalties and new tensions run deep. Veerapandi, whose late father was a powerful faction leader who once owned 4,000 acres of land, had entrusted the management of that wealth to Vajravelu Rajan P Dev before leaving for America. The homecoming quickly reveals the fissures of power: Veerapandi realizes Vajravelu has misused his authority, and he dreams of a bold, communal plan—to donate the land to the 2,000 families living in the village, a gesture meant to restore balance and share the bounty of their soil.
The moment Vajravelu learns of this proposed charity, the stakes escalate into deadly violence. Vajravelu attacks Veerapandi, killing him and his wife, and Nallamuthu, a trusted lieutenant, must act with swift cunning to preserve their son Jai. He ferries Jai away to the city, escaping the danger by the skin of their teeth. In the aftermath, Veerapandi’s loyal followers are imprisoned for fourteen long years, cutting off the family’s presence from the land they once controlled and leaving Jai to grow up far from the life his father envisioned.
Fourteen years pass, and Jai has become a college student in a bustling city, a fun-loving youth whose temper often flares into action. During his college years, he falls for Nandhini Anshu, Vajravelu’s daughter, an alliance that complicates the existing feud with family ties that blur the lines between ally and enemy. Nallamuthu has raised Jai in Chennai, shaping him into someone who can balance wit with a fierce sense of justice, but his upbringing also leaves Jai hot-tempered and impulsive, traits that will profoundly shape his future.
When Nandhini returns to her hometown after completing her studies, Jai accompanies the group of old allies—now freed from prison and ready to fight for what was taken. Nallamuthu redoubles his resolve to reclaim the land from Vajravelu, hoping to restore it to the villagers and provide a stable future for those who depend on it. The story then follows Jai as he confronts Vajravelu’s power and cunning, navigating betrayals, loyalties, and the heavy burden of legacy as he strives to avenge his parents and secure the land for the people who have long awaited justice.
In this tense drama, themes of legacy, community, and resistance weave through a narrative built on strong family bonds and a village’s right to its own resources. The film’s emotional core rests on Jai’s journey—from a carefree young man to a determined participant in a larger struggle for equity and justice, guided by the memory of his parents and the unyielding drive to set things right for his people.
