2149: The Aftermath 2021

In a grim and oppressive post-apocalyptic world shaped by the aftermath of a global biological war, humanity finds itself confined within small cement pods. These meager living spaces provide little more than a connection to a computer that sustains their jobs, meals, and forms of entertainment. Among these individuals is a young boy named Darwin, portrayed by Nick Krause, who is left alone in his module by his mother. She assures him with a heart-wrenching promise that she will return for him.

As the years pass in this bleak existence, Darwin is abruptly thrust into the harsh realities outside his pod following a lightning strike that leaves him without power. After nine long years of isolation, he steps into a world that is vastly different from what he had previously known. In this new environment, he uncovers astonishing truths about his surroundings and the life he has led in captivity.

During his journey, Darwin stumbles upon a family living hidden away in the wilderness, striving to survive amid the ruins of the old world.
