Set in Turkey’s 1960s, the film follows February 22 Operation that, while failing to spark a revolution, topples the government. An amnesty prompts İsmet İnönü to promise Talat Aydemir forgiveness and draft a law. Parliament backlash forces İnönü’s resignation, dissolving coalition six months later and ushering a government of CHP, YTP and CKMP, escalating Ankara tensions.
