Ric Roman Waugh, born on February 20, 1968, is an American film director, writer, producer, actor, and former stuntman. His talents extend across many roles, globally recognized for his distinguished contributions to films such as Felon (2008), Snitch (2013), and Shot Caller (2017). Known for his multidimensional roles, he both wrote and directed Angel Has Fallen (2019), the third installment in the Has Fallen series. Plus, he's set to oversee production for Night Has Fallen, the fourth part of the series. He is also the older brother of acclaimed director Scott Waugh. His extensive career also involves stunt performances dating back to the 1980s and 1990s. He's known for his work in Universal Soldier, The Last of the Mohicans, and even Lethal Weapon 2. In the capacity of an actor, he appeared in Kuffs (1992), starring Christian Slater and Milla Jovovich. His directorial debut, In the Shadows (2001), featured performances from James Caan, Matthew Modine, and Cuba Gooding Jr. He later directed Felon (2008), starring Val Kilmer, subsequently working with actor Dwayne Johnson in Snitch (2013). He also directed the film Greenland released in December 2020.
