Cristina Jacob

Cristina Jacob, born on 27 March 1989, is a Romanian film director and screenwriter renowned for her incisive blend of comedy and social commentary. After graduating from the London Film School in 2012, she quickly established a distinctive visual style inspired by auteurs such as David Fincher, Guy Ritchie, Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorsese, Darren Aronofsky and Pedro Almodóvar, absorbing their techniques across production, writing and cinematography. Her early work includes the documentary Mircea Veroiu (2010), the short film The Dowry (2011) and the medium‑length In Godfather's movie (2012), which laid the groundwork for a prolific feature‑film career. Jacob’s debut feature #Selfie (2014) was followed by Love Is a Story (2015), Selfie69 (2016), the playful rom‑com Oh, Ramona!
