Sunita Mani, born on December 13, 1986, is a successful American actress, dancer, and comedian. Sunita is recognized primarily for her television roles as Trenton in the USA Network drama Mr. Robot (2015–2017), and as Arthie Premkumar in the Netflix comedy GLOW (2017–2019). In addition to her thriving career in television, Mani has earned lead roles in the films Save Yourselves! and Evil Eye, released in 2020.
Born to parents Usha and Venk Mani, who both hail from Tamil Nadu, India, Sunita's early interest in performing arts was nurtured by her educational background. The launching pad of her acting career was the MTV web TV pilot Writer's Block, and she appeared in commercials for renowned brands like Burger King and Levi's. Her stellar performance in The Unspeakable Act, an award-winning American coming-of-age drama, was her introductory foray into film. Furthermore, she gained significant public recognition for her dance performance in the music video for the song 'Turn Down for What', released in December 2013. Mani is also a notable member of the alt-comedy group Cocoon Central Dance Team.
