Roger Tréville was a distinguished French actor whose remarkable career spanned several decades of the 20th century, establishing him as a notable figure in both French and international cinema. Born as Roger Troly on November 17, 1902, in Paris, France, he hailed from an established theatrical dynasty, being the son of Georges Tréville and Fanny Delisle, both of whom were accomplished stage and screen performers. This rich familial heritage provided him with an intimate understanding of the performing arts from an early age, undoubtedly shaping his approach to acting and his dedication to the craft. Tréville embarked upon his professional acting career during the silent film era, making his screen debut in 1921 with The Rotters, followed by another early appearance in Married Life the same year.
