Noah Paul James, born on February 14, 2001, in Newcastle, Australia, is an Australian professional soccer player who has established himself as a goalkeeper in the A-League and various Australian football competitions. Standing at 1.85 meters tall, James began his senior career with the Newcastle Jets, where he progressed through the club's youth system and signed his first senior scholarship contract in October 2018 alongside teammate Jack Simmons. This signing marked the transition from promising youth talent to professional athlete, setting the stage for his future development in the sport. His career nearly featured an early highlight when he was considered as a substitute goalkeeper for the 2018 A-League Grand Final, though he was ultimately deemed ineligible due to not having participated in the 2017–18 Y-League, a disappointing twist that nevertheless signaled his growing reputation within the club.
