Nasim Adabi

Nasim Adabi (born September 8, 1976 in Tehran, Iran) is a celebrated Iranian actress whose career spans more than three decades of stage and screen work. Emerging onto the theatrical scene in the early 1990s, she quickly earned a reputation for versatility, moving fluidly between dramatic roles and comedic timing, a skill highlighted by her multiple awards at the Fajr International Theatre Festival. Her first major recognition came in 1996 when she received the best actress prize at the Ardabil Festival for the production “Acacalaureate,” and she continued to dominate the festival circuit with consecutive best actor honors in 2009, 2011, 2015, and 2016. In addition to her theatrical triumphs, Adabi achieved widespread popularity through television, most notably for her compelling performance in the period drama Shahrzad (2015–2018) and the comedy series Golshifteh (2018), which garnered her a Hafez Award nomination and a 2019 Hafez Celebration trophy for best TV comedy actress.
