Molly Ephraim

Molly Ephraim is an American actress renowned for her versatile work across film, television, and the stage. Born on May 22, 1986, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she grew up in the culturally rich environment of Bucks County, where early exposure to community theater at the Bucks County Playhouse and professional venues like the Prince Music Theater sparked her passion for performance. After graduating from Central Bucks East High School, Ephraim pursued higher education at Princeton University, earning a B.A. in Religious Studies in 2008 while actively participating in the Triangle Club and contributing choreography and performances for the Princeton University Players and Theatre Intime. Her Broadway breakthrough came in 2002 when she originated the role of Little Red Riding Hood in the revival of Into the Woods, a performance that garnered a Drama League Award nomination and established her as a rising talent on the New York stage. She subsequently appeared as Bielke in the 2004 revival of Fiddler on the Roof, and continued to build a robust off‑Broadway résumé with roles such as Rachel Stein in End Days (2009) and the titular character in Bad Jews at the Geffen Playhouse (2015). Transitioning to screen, Ephraim achieved widespread recognition as Mandy Baxter, the witty daughter of Tim Allen's character on the sitcom Last Man Standing (2011‑2017), a role that showcased her comedic timing and earned her a dedicated fan base. She later expanded her television repertoire with recurring parts on critically acclaimed series including Brockmire, Halt and Catch Fire, Casual, and the HBO revival of Perry Mason, where she portrayed Hazel Prystock, the lover of Della Street. In film, she delivered memorable performances as Ali Rey in Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) and its spin‑off, and as Irene Kelly in the political drama The Front Runner (2018). More recently, she joined the cast of Amazon's A League of Their Own as Maybelle Fox, further cementing her reputation as a dynamic and adaptable performer.
