Matthew Davis

Matthew Wadsworth Davis is an American actor renowned for his contributions to the film and television industry. He was born on May 8, 1978, in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Woods Cross High School and the University of Utah. Davis broke into the acting scene in 2000 with a role in the Vietnam War film Tigerland and cemented his place in popular culture with his appearance in the comedy Legally Blonde in 2001. Critical acclaim followed his portrayals in series like What About Brian and The Vampire Diaries, as well as the spin-off series Legacies. Additionally, he is recognized for his performance in the short-lived CW mystery and horror drama Cult as Jeff Sefton and had a recurring role on the CBS police drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as Sean Yeager. Other notable roles include films such as Into the Sun, BloodRayne, and more recently, Hallmark Christmas film, Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses.
