Being the son of famed singer Nunzio Gallo, Massimiliano was introduced to the arts at a tender age. He made his theatrical debut when he was only five years old, becoming the star of several TV series targeted towards children broadcast on RAI. In 1988, he co-founded the 'Gallo Company', a theatrical group alongside his brother Gianfranco, thus solidifying his standing in the theater industry. Fast forward to 2008, Gallo ventured into the movie industry under the direction of his comrade Vincenzo Salemme. Over the years, he worked with acclaimed directors such as Ferzan Özpetek, Marco Risi, Maria Sole Tognazzi, and for Paolo Sorrentino's series 'The Young Pope'. Massimiliano Gallo notably lent his voice to the character Salvatore Lo Giusto, a nefarious drug lord in the animated film 'Cinderella the Cat' in 2017. He has emerged as a versatile actor, starring in an impressive array of films that have ranged from 'Fort Apache Napoli' (2009) to 'The Hand of God' (2021). Besides his film endeavors, he also made an impact in the television industry with features in 'Un caso di coscienza' (2013), 'Una grande famiglia' (2015), and the ongoing 'Imma Tataranni: Deputy Prosecutor' (2019-present).
