After completing her formal training at the Malmö Theatre Academy in 2002, she quickly became a regular presence at the Stockholm City Theatre and the Swedish National Theatre, earning a reputation for her versatility and emotional depth. Her early stage credits include productions of Ben Elton's Popcorn, Shakespeare's A Midsummer‑Night’s Dream, and Lars Norén’s Terminal, where critics praised her ability to convey complex inner lives with subtle gestures. In film, Crépin made a memorable debut in the short Assistanten (2003) before taking on more substantial roles such as Anna in Miffo and Annika in the TV miniseries Lasermannen (2005). The turning point of her screen career arrived in 2012 when she was cast as journalist Annika Bengtzon, the titular heroine of Liza Marklund’s popular crime novels; she headlined a series of TV movies (Nobel’s Last Will, Prime Time, Studio Sex, Den röda vargen, Livstid, En plats i solen) that cemented her status as a leading actress in Swedish crime drama. Her performance in In Your Veins (2009) earned a Guldbagge Award nomination for Best Actress, while the Stockholm International Film Festival honored her with the Rising Star Award in 2008. Beyond the big screen, she has continued to balance television work, appearing in series such as Morden i Sandhamn (2020) and Bäckström (2022), and she has taken on challenging film roles in Sami Blood (2016) and The Medium (2016). Crépin’s dedication to her craft, her commitment to both contemporary and classic theater, and her consistent presence in high‑profile Swedish productions make her a distinguished figure in modern Scandinavian entertainment.
