Leslie Ash

Leslie Ash is an English actress whose career spans over five decades, beginning when she was just four years old appearing in a Fairy Liquid television advertisement. Born on 19 February 1960 in Henley‑on‑Thames, Oxfordshire, she was educated at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, where she honed the skills that would later make her a household name. After early work as a fashion model on teen‑magazine covers, Ash broke into film with a memorable romantic lead in the cult classic Quadrophenia (1979) and continued to build a diverse résumé that includes music videos for Iron Maiden and Dire Straits, as well as a series of British comedy and drama titles throughout the 1980s.
