Kevin L. Johnson

Kevin L. Johnson (born September 27, 1960) is an American politician whose career has been closely tied to the state of South Carolina. He was born at the military installation Fort Campbell in Kentucky, reflecting a family background with ties to the armed forces, and later moved to South Carolina where he pursued higher education at the University of South Carolina, earning a degree that would lay the groundwork for his public service.
