Julia Jentsch

Julia Jentsch, born on 20 February 1978, is a highly acclaimed German actress who has left an indelible mark on the international film industry. She was born in West Berlin to a family of lawyers. Jentsch began her acting education at the prestigious Hochschule Ernst Busch, a well-renowned drama school based in Berlin. Julia stepped into the limelight with her commendable performance in the 2004 cult film The Edukators, sharing the screen with actor Daniel Brühl. Her portrayal of Sophie Scholl in the 2005 film Sophie Scholl – The Final Days catapulted her to international fame, earning her an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.
