Jess Weixler, born between 1981 and 1982, is an established American actress with diverse roles to her credit. Her breakout role was that of Dawn O'Keefe in the comedy horror film 'Teeth', where she managed to surprise audiences with her unique portrayal. She also impressed audiences as Jordan in the comedy 'The Big Bad Swim'. Beyond movies, Weixler encountered success on the small screen, notably playing the defense lawyer for Lyle Menendez in the edgy Netflix series 'Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story'. The actress graduated from Atherton High School in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1999 and went on to study at the renowned Juilliard School, becoming classmates with Jessica Chastain. In 2007, she earned a nomination for a Breakthrough Award at the Gotham Awards and won the Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival for her uncanny performance in 'Teeth'. Aside from acting, Weixler has ventured into writing; she co-wrote, co-directed, and co-starred in 'Apartment Troubles' with Jennifer Prediger. The film debuted at the 2014 Los Angeles Film Festival and received both theatrical and VOD distribution in March 2015.
