Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Shrader Lawrence (born August 15, 1990) is a highly acclaimed American actress and producer. Lawrence has carved a unique space for herself in both action film franchises and independent dramas, catapulting her to an elite level of stardom. By 2013, her films had grossed over $6 billion worldwide, making her a formidable figure. She opened her acting career as a teenager, featuring in guest roles on television. Her first big exposure came as a main cast member in the sitcom The Bill Engvall Show. Lawrence's cinematic debut was in the drama Garden Party (2008) as a supporting actress, and she got her breakthrough in the independent film Winter's Bone (2010). The role that truly defined Lawrence’s stardom were her portrayals of 'Mystique' in the X-Men film series (2011–2019) and Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games film series (2012–2015).
