Jason Priestley

Jason Bradford Priestley, born on August 28, 1969, in North Vancouver, British Columbia is known for his iconic roles on television. He's especially recognized as the virtuous Brandon Walsh on the popular series Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990–1998, 2000), Richard 'Fitz' Fitzpatrick in Call Me Fitz (2010–2013), and Matt Shade in the Canadian series Private Eyes (2016–2021). His acting career started with commercials and guest roles on series like Airwolf and 21 Jump Street and evolved into starring roles in sitcoms like Sister Kate. Priestley's success extended beyond acting with 15 episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210 directed by him. After leaving the show as an actor, he continued to serve as an executive producer until it ended in 2002. His work expanded with roles in Tru Calling, Love Monkey, and series like What I Like About You and Without a Trace. Additionally, Priestley made several films, standing out as an actor and director in 7th Heaven and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. The Movie Network's Nova Scotia-filmed Call Me Fitz nominated Priestley for the best lead actor in a comedy series. Besides acting, Priestley's autobiography was published in 2014, detailing his personal and professional life. His hobbies include race-car driving. He even provided commentary and interviews for ABC's TV coverage of IndyCar racing in the 1990s, and was part of a new IndyCar Series team, Rubicon Race Team, as a joint owner in 2008.
