Eli Goree

Eli Goree, born May 26, 1994, is a reputable Canadian actor best known for his dynamic roles across multiple genres of shows and movies. Some of his notable works include portraying Quincy in HBO's Ballers, Malik in Da Kink in My Hair (2007–2009), Wells Jaha in the post-apocalyptic drama show The 100 (2014–2017), Joel Goodson in the supernatural horror show Dead of Summer, and Cassius Clay in Regina King's biographical drama film One Night in Miami... (2020). From 2018, Goree began a recurring role on the CW's TV series Riverdale, where he skillfully plays the character of Munroe "Mad Dog" Moore. This Halifax, Nova Scotia native began his acting career at age six in Sesame Park, the Canadian version of Sesame Street. Among his other early ventures in media, Goree has hosted The Big Black Rap Show on the Dalhousie University campus radio station CKDU-FM in 2003 and was one of the hosts for the last season of the CBC TV series Street Cents. His freelance journalism work for Canada Now further showcases his versatility in the media industry. As an actor, he graced the stage with his lead role of Jake in the critically acclaimed play Secrets of a Black Boy in 2009. His role as Wells Jaha in The 100, one of the main characters in the first season of The CW's post-apocalyptic drama show, displayed his talent in embodying complex characters.
