Diogo Morgado

Born on January 17, 1981 in Campo Grande, Lisbon, Diogo Miguel Morgado Soares grew up surrounded by the rich cultural tapestry of Portugal. From a young age he displayed a prodigious talent for performance, joining the cast of the acclaimed TV series Terra Mãe at just fifteen years old. His early career quickly gathered momentum with roles in Diário de Maria, A Lenda da Garça and the telefilm Amo‑Te, Teresa, which cemented his reputation as one of the most promising actors of his generation. Fluent in Portuguese, French, Spanish and English, Morgado leveraged his linguistic abilities to navigate a diverse slate of projects across television, film, and stage.
