Diego Peretti

Diego Peretti, born on 10 February 1963 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a celebrated actor, screenwriter and former psychiatrist whose eclectic career bridges the worlds of medicine and entertainment. Raised in the Constitución neighborhood, he is the son of an Italian physics and mathematics teacher and a Spanish clothier, a multicultural background that shaped his intellectual curiosity and artistic sensibility. After excelling at the prestigious Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires, Peretti entered the University of Buenos Aires Medical School, completing a rigorous four‑year residency in psychiatry at Hospital Castex in San Martín and practicing the discipline for fourteen years, during which he also engaged in political activity as a member of the Intransigent Party.
