Diamond White

Diamond White (born January 1, 1999) is an American singer and actress who has built a multifaceted career across music, television, and film. She first entered the public eye in 2007 when she starred in a Chicago‑based production of The Color Purple that toured nationally, demonstrating early theatrical talent that would later translate to major stage roles such as young Nala in Disney’s The Lion King musical at age eleven. White’s breakthrough in mainstream entertainment arrived in 2012 when she auditioned for the second season of the U.S. version of The X Factor, delivering powerful renditions of songs like James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” and Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing”; under the mentorship of Britney Spears she advanced to the live shows and ultimately finished in fifth place. Following her reality‑show exposure, White transitioned to voice acting, lending her vocal skills to characters such as Frankie Greene in Transformers: Rescue Bots, Ruby in Sofia the First, and most prominently Fuli the cheetah in the Disney Junior series The Lion Guard, a role that cemented her status as a trusted voice‑over talent. In 2015 she released the Pressure EP, featuring singles like “Born Rich” and “Lie on the Night,” and continued to expand her discography with independent releases through 2022, blending pop and R&B influences. Her on‑screen acting includes a cameo on The Big Bang Theory, a recurring part on Nickelodeon’s The Haunted Hathaways, and a comedic turn as Tiffany Simmons in Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween and its sequel. From November 2020 to July 2024 she portrayed Paris Buckingham on the long‑running CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, demonstrating versatility in daytime drama. In 2021 she was cast as Lunella Lafayette / Moon Girl in the Disney Channel animated series Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, a role that debuted in early 2023 and continues to showcase her ability to bring animated heroes to life. Throughout her career White has consistently combined vocal performance with acting, earning a reputation as a dynamic entertainer whose work spans live theater, recorded music, voice work, and live‑action television.
