Debra Messing

Debra Lynn Messing, born on August 15, 1968, is an esteemed American actress. After receiving her education from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Messing played key roles in television series such as 'Ned and Stacey' and 'Prey'. She became a household name following her portrayal of Grace Adler, an interior designer, in the popular NBC sitcom 'Will & Grace'. Her performance earned her numerous accolades including seven Golden Globe Award nominations and five Primetime Emmy Award nominations out of which she emerged victorious once in 2003. Throughout her illustrious career, she has demonstrated her versatility by taking on varied roles, like Molly Kagan in 'The Starter Wife' and Broadway playwright Julia Houston in 'Smash'.\n\nMessing's filmography showcases her excellence in numerous movies like 'A Walk in the Clouds', 'The Mothman Prophecies', and 'Hollywood Ending'.
