**Blake Ellender Lively** (born August 25, 1987) is a renowned American actress. Born in Los Angeles as Blake Brown, she is the progeny of talent manager Elaine Lively and actor Ernie Lively, making her professional acting debut in Ernie Lively's directorial project Sandman (1998). Blake's breakthrough role came from *The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants* (2005) and its 2008 sequel, which solidified her place in the acting sphere. Further recognition followed with her portrayal of Serena van der Woodsen in the CW teen drama television series Gossip Girl (2007–2012). Blake Lively had supporting roles in several films like *New York, I Love You* (2008), *The Private Lives of Pippa Lee* (2009), *Café Society* (2016), *The Town* (2010), *Savages* (2012), *Green Lantern* (2011) and starred in films such as *The Age of Adaline* (2015), *The Shallows* (2016), *A Simple Favor* (2018), and *It Ends with Us* (2024). Beyond the reel world, Lively can step into the director's shoes, too, with her first notable work being Taylor Swift's music video *I Bet You Think About Me* (2021). Her personal life has been equally happening, married to actor Ryan Reynolds with a beautiful family of four children.
