Bella Ramsey

**Isabella May Ramsey**, better known as **Bella Ramsey**, was born in September 2003 in Nottingham, England. She has been an active actor in the industry since 2016. Her breakout role was Lyanna Mormont, a young noblewoman in the renowned HBO fantasy television series *Game of Thrones (2016–2019)*. Another notable role she played is Ellie in the HBO post-apocalyptic drama series *The Last of Us (2023–present)*. These roles have earned her nominations for prestigious awards such as the Primetime Emmy Award and the Golden Globe Award. Bella also starred as Mildred Hubble in the 2017 CBBC series *The Worst Witch* and appeared in the 2022 historical comedy film *Catherine Called Birdy*. Her impressive performance in the latter resulted in a nomination for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Young Performer. Bella began her acting hobby at age four and attended the Loughborough branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts for seven years. She then proceeded to the Television Workshop and started auditioning for professional roles. Bella voiced the title character in Netflix's original series *Hilda* for which she won a BAFTA award. She later prioritised her mental health and left *The Worst Witch* series in 2020. Bella identifies as non-binary and is also known for her roles in the lesbian horror short film *Requiem* and the 80-minute movie special, *Hilda and the Mountain King*. In the personal realm, Bella is a Christian, and her faith has helped her cope with anorexia nervosa. She is also known to be vegan and demonstrates strong advocacy for veganism.
