Andy LeRoy (born June 24, 1975) is an American former alpine skier who rose to prominence by representing the United States at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, where he competed in the downhill and super‑G events. After retiring from competitive racing, LeRoy transitioned swiftly into coaching, beginning his instructional career in 2003 with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, a renowned training ground for elite skiers. During his three‑year tenure there, he honed a reputation for developing technical precision and fostering a supportive team environment, which caught the attention of university programs. In 2006 he was appointed head ski coach at the University of Denver, where over a twelve‑year period he guided the Pioneers to six NCAA Skiing Championships, cementing his legacy as one of the most successful collegiate ski coaches in modern American sports.
