Alisha Boe (born Alisha Ilhaan Bø on 6 March 1997) is a Norwegian‑American actress who first captured public attention with her nuanced portrayal of Jessica Davis in the Netflix drama 13 Reasons Why, a role she inhabited from 2017 to 2020. Born in Oslo to a Norwegian mother from Trondheim and a Somali father, Boe experienced a multicultural upbringing that later informed her on‑screen versatility; after her parents' divorce, her mother Vibeke remarried an American, and the family relocated to Los Angeles when Alisha was just seven years old. Growing up in Southern California, she attended El Camino Real High School where she joined the drama program, discovering a passion for performance that would launch her professional journey.
