Adam DeVine

Adam Patrick DeVine (born November 7, 1983) is an American comedian, actor, producer, and screenwriter. Known for his dynamic personality and comic timing, he is one of the stars and co-creators of the Comedy Central comedy television series Workaholics and Adam DeVine's House Party. Devine showcased his acting skills in the musical films Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2 and the TV series Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin. He portrayed recurring sitcom roles as Andy Bailey in Modern Family and Adam DeMamp in Workaholics. Since 2019, he has starred as Kelvin Gemstone in the acclaimed HBO comedy series The Righteous Gemstones. Over his broad career, Adam has performed in numerous films, including The Intern, The Final Girls, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Game Over, Man!, and When We First Met. He has also voiced characters in films such as Ice Age: Collision Course, The Lego Batman Movie, Extinct, Fixed and Hypergalactic. Devine was born in Waterloo, Iowa, and faced a challenging childhood following an accident, which led to 26 surgeries over several years. Despite these tribulations, he expressed that this experience allowed him to realize that 'anything is possible.' In 2006, DeVine and his friends Blake Anderson, Anders Holm, and Kyle Newacheck formed the sketch-comedy group Mail Order Comedy. The group found massive success online, leading to their Comedy Central's original series Workaholics. He later enjoyed roles in various shows like Community, Samantha Who?, and the Cartoon Network animated series Uncle Grandpa. His varied and enduring career in comedy and acting is highly recognized and respected in the entertainment industry.
