Investigative journalist Nick McKenzie revisits a disturbing case when a tip leads him to suspect renewed sex trafficking activity in South Melbourne. Years prior, McKenzie's reporting exposed the trafficking of Asian women to Australia, bringing the issue to international attention. This observational documentary follows him as he conducts undercover surveillance, infiltrating brothels and motels to confront those allegedly involved. Through firsthand accounts of survivors and a deep dive into the criminal underworld, McKenzie aims to expose the ongoing problem and pressure the government to take action against this pervasive crime.
