What Is The Windmill About?
The premise of The Windmill without spoilers.
In the waning years of the Ottoman Empire, the modest Anatolian town of Sarıpınar experiences a modest earthquake that causes little damage and few casualties. A telegraph sent to the capital, however, inflates the incident, claiming the governor was gravely wounded. The exaggerated report turns the local tremor into a national sensation, drawing attention far beyond the tiny community.
