The Man is confined in a white cube that others can enter and exit, yet he cannot find his own way out. A jam‑covered stool and other furnishings appear and disappear. Various strangers emerge from hidden doors, confronting him with baffling and frustrating situations. Everyone reminds him he can only leave through his own door, so he must find it.
