Jane (1985): Cast

The film is said to be essentially about light. Jane interprets the work as a portrait of herself, seeing her own image reflected in its visual language. She replies, “You gave me the moon and seven stars,” and signs the piece simply as “Stan.” Through this exchange the story touches on how illumination can serve as a mirror for personal identity.
